The Role
Hain Daniels are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative at our Grimsby site. In Grimsby, we manufacture fresh soups for our New Covent Garden brand and for private label.
The purpose of the warehouse operative role is to execute standard work to intake raw materials and packaging and despatch finished goods in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Unloading vehicles and storing raw materials and packaging.
- Executing stock counts and recording stock onto the warehouse management system.
- Delivering picking orders and preparing ready for dispatch.
- To coordinate and match deliveries with delivery notes.
- To rotate stock in order to use in rotation.
- To carry out daily safety / food safety checks in the area.
- To perform weekly report of warehouse standards.
What you will need for the role / what it will take
- Able to work to standards.
- Confident working at pace.
- Attention to detail.
- Fork lift truck experience is advantageous.
- Able to use Microsoft Office
