National Account Manager (High Street)

Are you passionate about making a real difference in children’s lives through healthy food? At Ella’s Kitchen, we’re on a mission to improve children’s lives through developing healthy relationships with food. We’re looking for a commercially minded, relationship-driven Customer Account Lead to join our energetic and purpose-led sales team. You’ll take ownership of key High Street and Convenience accounts, building strong partnerships, driving growth, and helping shape our route-to-market strategy – all while championing our values and brand.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Customer Management & Sales Delivery (60%)

Own and manage customer relationships with support from the Sales Controller.

Deliver UK net sales targets and manage effective trade spend.

Align customer strategies to our brand and commercial plans.

Inspire, excite and support our convenience distributor network to deliver shared growth.

Develop imaginative, commercially smart customer plans rooted in insight.

Provide category management support and regularly visit stores to stay close to the market.
- Forecast customer needs with a focus on accuracy and agility.
Sales Reporting, Insights & Cross-Functional Projects (30%)

Collaborate with category and marketing teams to deliver compelling insight and stand out from the competition.

Track and challenge performance via sales data, forecasts and promotional results.

Lead and contribute to cross-functional initiatives, from new product development to internal reporting improvements.
Joint Business Planning (10%)

Build and deliver exciting, long-term Joint Business Plans that motivate customers and deliver against internal goals.

Balance short-term execution with longer-term brand vision, always with the shopper and end-family in mind.

Manage bottom-up planning at SKU level and ensure timely execution with cross-team alignment.
What You’ll Need for the Role:

Proven experience managing key accounts in FMCG or a similar retail/customer-facing environment.

Strong commercial acumen and a track record of delivering sales and profit targets.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

High level of numeracy and confidence using Microsoft Excel.

A curious mindset and ability to think differently, challenge constructively, and influence cross-functionally.
