Location: Clitheroe | Hybrid Working Available
We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead and improve the End-to-End (E2E) Supply Chain for our Hot Eat Desserts (HED) category. Based at our Clitheroe site with hybrid working options, this role is key to delivering exceptional customer service (targeting >98.5%) while managing cost efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities
E2E Supply Chain Improvement

Lead the development and implementation of processes, systems, and organisational enhancements to optimise the full supply chain.

Integrate new product development, demand planning, supply planning, production, logistics, and distribution to ensure best-in-class performance.
Supply Planning & Operations

Manage daily operations of the Clitheroe Supply Planning team, including MRP, production scheduling, and logistics.

Maintain an effective and efficient logistics function to support timely distribution.

Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Operations, Commercial, and Technical teams to deliver high customer service at the lowest cost.
Performance & Reporting

Ensure stock management processes are auditable and accurate.

Deliver regular performance reports and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.

Complete variance reporting and provide timely weekly/monthly cost forecasts.
Budget & Cost Management

Manage the Clitheroe Supply Chain budget, including cost control, stock levels, waste, and scheduling.

Ensure cost-effective planning and resource use aligned with operational capacity.
Team Leadership

Set clear objectives and lead performance reviews for the team.

Mentor, coach, and support development across the department.

Ensure all HR processes are followed, and foster a culture of open communication and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Need
Education & Experience
-
Degree-level qualification in a relevant field (e.g. Supply Chain, Business, Logistics).

Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end supply chains, ideally within FMCG or food manufacturing.

Strong track record in supply planning, production scheduling, and logistics.

Leadership experience with the ability to manage teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
Skills & Competencies

High level of computer and system literacy, including MRP/ERP systems.

Strong financial acumen and cost management skills.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational abilities.
